Did anyone else notice that they added the number "0" and the number "1" to the powerplay option?NEITHER of these two numbers will multiply a prize. When they first started the powerplay option they had the number "1,after a few months and I'm sure a lot of complaints they decided to drop the number "1" from their RNG machine.I'm going to write to my state lottery and complain. You should do the same if you if you feel this is unfair. You might also mention that you don't like the RNG machine drawings of these numbers.

Where did you get your information? According to these graphics posted on Ohio's website, the Power Play looks like it's a fixed amount or each prize level. * The fundamentals of winning a lottery jackpot * * play a lottery you can win *

I was going by the fact that the powerplay number was "0" in last nights drawing. After looking at your graphics,I like it even less. The two top tier prizes are just fine but the lower tier prizes appear to only pay 2 times or 3 times the prize money.I don't like that at all.

Darn!!! I wanted to be the first. In August "07" I hit the second prize for $200k in NH, my redemption would be for that cool $1,000,000.000 Oh well.....chin up......march my buns back to my local supermarket and keep on playing. This Saturday??? Hey, that's really cool, congrats on the $200,000 win! A nice chunk of change to pay off a mortgage or something.

Most will just lose $2 now instead of $1. But there will eventually be some "anonymous winner" that we never know about.

At least now you won't be writing to your state lottery complaining about a situation that doesn't exists. Thats true. Now I'll just write and complain about the price increase, which sucks. The only people that benefit from the price increase is the state lotterys.

I agree, Cletu$2. I don't think the idea of playing a jackpot game is to won $7, $14, or even $200. The $7 and $14 payoffs will undoubtedley go right back into the lottery anyway. A 0 or 1 Powerplay is notthing but marketing hype. Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any. One thing all the Law of Attraction books have done is help to sell a lot of lottery tickets!

wasant power plays a state ran thing, so the extra $1 went to state coffers, not the multi state lotto pot, so it was a way for states to cash in on the popularity of powerball,? anyhow thats how i thought power play started,. and now its all part of the pb structure or is it still a state revenue stream? I used to play the lottery in New Mexico. I had terrible luck there. Felt like I was in a desert. Wait a minute... I was in a desert... Never mind. . “Let us disappoint the men who are raising themselves upon the ruin of this Country.” -- John Adams
