I already had 3 QP with 10 advance since about 270 million....LOL I drove back before last nights draw to get 5 more with advance plays.  If it rolls again I may hit the road again..  I know realistically a few more tickets won't make much of a difference but I can't help myself.

P.S.  The popo (local police and state troopers) are heavy thru Jacksonville and FHP likes to hide off of I95 in various spots.  I cruised at 75-80 like the rest of traffic and they didn't mess with me. Just don't be the odd man out....

On Friday when the jackpot was $290 million, someone won second prize $250k at the store I buy my tickets at.

I have eight spare bucks so I'm going to buy one mega millions ticket at eight of my favorite lottery selling stores (there are tons of them here in new york).

Hopefully there will be a dozen or so winners of the jackpot, one person getting $500 would be insane and we'd probably never see them unless the winner is in a state where you can't be anonymous.

I was facepalming at Kroger. While I was double checking my tickets with their scanner two people bought tickets. Neither knew what they were doing. One asked for Powerball with powerplay. When cashier told her six bucks she hemmed and hawed..and said..".I want the one with the big jackpot. I think that is the wrong one." She didn't pay for the ticket and you can't cancel Powerball tickets.

Feel sorry for cashiers for the next few days.
