Update: Back from Georgia safe and sound with the winning ticket. Once I crossed the state line I spotted the Mega Millions billboard I got so excited. I went to several stores and there were no lines anywhere. I bought a mix of my own picks and quick picks with advance play for Friday and Tuesday in case it rolls again. I can see the headline already Florida resident hijacks the jackpot or something more catchy like Florida Resident made off with money like Bernie. LOL. Good luck everyone. glad you made it safe Win...... Win BIG everyone..... I Love Pink & Green....1908

If I was the only winner of it I think I would wear a hood and sunglasses when I went to claim it, change my last name to something like smith, and find somebody with that same exact name and offer to buy their house for 3X whats it's worth, so it would be really hard for people to find me.

My mom and my brother live in southern Florida, so in ordered for them to play i got their numbers and will play them here in Arizona...this avoids them having to drive to Georgia. Anyway, good luck...Im sure Floridian's will be crossing the border to Georgia tommorrow to buy up last minute tickets...

My surname isn't Smith but I have a house that I would gladly sell at three times its current market value - lol! "Freedom of Speech? Because, sirbrad, different lottery companies run each game. Consequently, PB chose to increase annuity payment by 4% each 29 annual payments, yet MM chose to pay out each of their 26 annual annuity payments at the same amount each time. Note that both ways would require the winning receiver to pay the top Federal Income Tax Bracket each payment though.
OK so the MM payments are the same each year? That is better. PB likes to not give you the big money until 25-30 years, and hopes you are not around then. With this much money I really don't care what the taxes are as after the taxes I will still have more money than I ever will spend.

Careful, Table. By paying 3x the market value you are automatically putting yourself under suspicion. Why would anyone rational person do this? Maybe because they won the lottery?
