The MM home page has an odd topper right now. 108M is what is listed as the new jackpot... with draw date = March 2, 2012 hmm... think they are gearing up for another increase and someone messed up? 108M is what it was for the 03/02/12 drawing. Interesting... I'm still calling it at $624M with one other winner besides myself.

I didnt invest in Gold before it went so high... I missed buying MicroSoft when it had its big dip and now I have missed out on the 3rd great investment opportunity... the Yugo. I best get myself a drink for consolation...

I am sure you are speaking of pu'ehr from your vintage tea room. You did purchase it before it became $1000 an ounce didn't you? Ok for those of you who didnt know (like me) Pu'er, Pu-erh, Puer, also Po Lei or Bolay is a variety of post-fermented tea produced in Yunnan province, China. Post-fermentation is a tea production style in which the tea leaves undergo a microbial fermentation process after they are dried and rolled. This is a Chinese speciality adn is sometimes referred to as dark tea. (thank you wiki-p) LL - you got me... you go from Yugo's to fermented tea. Actually (truth be told) my 'drink' is a glass of water with a tablespoon of apple cidar vinegar in it. (arent you glad I overshared?)

Louisiana only joined MegaMillions recently and we haven't had a big winner yet. Louisiana needs its first big winner and this would be the perfect jackpot for that. I have a dozen tickets of my own, as well as my lottery pool with my coworkers. At the level it's at now, I'll take either one. Prisoner Six

Thanks Jill34768, Man the government gets their chunk in the beginning and if I wanted to be nice and give my parents some, it wouldnt be worth it. You can include your parents in your trust/LLC and dictate how much you want them to have. That would resolve any future transfer tax issues.

Heating/cooling cost on a conventionally built 17,000 sq.ft. depending on location would most likely run $2,000-$2,500 per month. Incorporating ICF, Geo thermal, quality gas filled clad windows, smart home automation, Solar panels could easily cut cost down to the $600-$800 range. Just a few tips we have picked up from building a few homes. My McMansion will have ZERO fuel costs. My Shack will be totally self sufficient. I'm sure that it won't be about money. Having $233,700,000 after taxes cost won't be an issue. But security WILL be. Imagine sitting in your palace, then a power outage hits. Not so nice. In may place when the power goes out life will go on exactly as it did before the outage. I will stay cool or warm. I will have a cool beverage and sit back watching TV, or take a nice dip in the pool. I will have a long range electric car which will be fully powered up. Me and my battery bank will keep me happy!

I'm sorry PS but I am sure the rules state that Louisiana must pay their dues before anyone from there can win a jackpot. I believe the date of eligibility is March 31, 2012.
