Oh I remember him!! So sad...So sad... Couple years back the jackpot was getting large, and E! television ran back to back marathon shows about lottery winners, which I have seen over the years but they showed them all day that day. The guy had a real real nice house in Florida and yes he did buy some strange things, then a couple of episodes later in an episode of "Curse of the Lottery" it was gone!!!!! whaaa? All of it ? He messed up!!! I couldn't even believe it!! How do you even come back from something like that? He had it, he had what others have been dreaming about and he blew it. Yeah, look up David Edwards sometime, he's a classic case of what not to do and how a lack of educating yourself and your demons/vices can be your downfall, as well as those around you.... That Curse of the Lottery episode he was in could be updated further with the things that have happened since it was produced.
Another is Jack Whittaker though he seemed to have a "good ol'boy" personality as well but one would have thought he would have handled it better since he at least had experience with managing money and IIRC was a millionaire already at the time.
Not going to go into details but both are headache (in their own ways) inducing and sad examples that people who dream of winning the lottery should learn from as to what NOT do. You can't predict random.

I just found out that Pennsylvania does not allow you to claim the jackpot in a blind trust. So I retain my plan to claim the prize and then put the money in a RLT that has not been revealed to everyone! 1 Ticket .......... 1 Winner ..................

Then you'd better hope you lose. Depending on where in Philly you live and how many tickets you buy, it could cost $25, $50, or $100 to drive to Jersey and buy some losers. Driving to Jersey and buying a winner, OTOH, could cost as much as $40 million. It's a 20 min drive to Cherry Hill, Nj and five dollars to cross back over. I told my lady am only spending ten bucks their.
