yea, if memory serves, it came out right around the time that news programs became very competitive, followed by an explosion of cable/satellite channels and 24 hrs. news cycle. Yeah it was late "80", just when the cable giant Ted Turner was emerging. Everyone scrambling for better ratings. Off that topic somewhat, was the Henley hit song "Boys Of Summer", in "84" another great song and video that was real classy.  | | |

I just purchased some tickets at a mom and pop and the clerk said "It ain't gonna do you any good 'cause I have the winning ticket already". Thinking she was kidding I said "I'm sure there will be more than one winner and I don't mind sharing". The clerk went off the handle and yelled "I ain't gonna share with anybody, it's all mine"... with a few expletives thrown in, then turned around and walked off. Kind of freaked me out! yea, i think i would have freaked out too when relizeing they where serious, after the clerk don't win, go back for your next set of tix. and say, "ohh.....still working here, or did you buy the place ?" oops... have an increase in the jackpot I personally don't think there will be another increase in the jackpot estimate before cut-off time for sales tonight. And if there is, I doubt that it would increase the feeding frenzy which I feel is already at a peak. If, by a slim chance, the combination of numbers drawn tonight does not match any plays made, though, things will go totally wild for next Tuesday's drawing right from the start. My guess is that there will be three winners tonight. | | |

I personally don't think there will be another increase in the jackpot estimate before cut-off time for sales tonight. And if there is, I doubt that it would increase the feeding frenzy which I feel is already at a peak. If, by a slim chance, the combination of numbers drawn tonight does not match any plays made, though, things will go totally wild for next Tuesday's drawing right from the start. My guess is that there will be three winners tonight. Agreed. To late in the day for an increase to make any difference in MM sales. | | |

The first store I was at had to wait 15mins then another 10mins for the second store. The lines were long. People are throwing part of their savings at it, crazy stuff! I hope someone would win this already so people can calm down. lol | | |
