A friend of mine bought two MM lines with the megaplier for the first time and she showed me where her ticket said $4.00 but it also said "no" on the ticket for the megaplier!! What gives???? She was charged $4.00. Is this some computer glitch? ooOOoo sounds like the computers are reaching maximum capacity. She will obviously have a very good argument should she win anything. | | |

The way I look at it is that because I rejected the ticket without the recipt that the dumbass tried to sell me, I went down the road and one of the quick picks I bought is the winning ticket. I feel the same way. Having a 3-year old makes you a little more cautious than most. I have had paperwork get smudged in the past which is why I would choose to place the ticket in a ziplock bag prior to placing it in a safe. I prefer this method for all my important documents. The winning ticket holder may get overly excited and the last thing they want is a unreadable ticket. Nothing against banks but if you have a fire safe in your home it's probably just as secure. Cool beans. :) We've got a little one due this August and a 10-year old that is starting to get adventurous , I can totally agree.
One thing is for certain, if I win or don't win, I won't be buying the eldest one a car when they turn 16. They'll have to get out and get a part-time job and continue to do good in school, before I'll allow them to put a down payment on a dependable used car. I wonder if anyone laminated and swallowed copy just in case?  Now that would definitely be paranoia, lol!

I don't disagree with that but I would have thought that they would leverage this unique opporunity to run a marathon of old episodes. I wonder when the federal government will get the clue that this is THE way to take care of the deficit? Have a NATIONAL lottery system... with all proceeds - not earmarked for prizes - going toward paying off the deficit. A few 640M$ jackpots and we would have the problem solved. Even if there was a $640 million jackpot every month, the proceeds wouldn't even make a dent in the deficit. | | |

i'll say it again, i think they are having a hard time finding winners who are willing to be on the show. Absolutely no doubt! Why would someone whose life has finally settled want to re-open the floodgates for the onslaught of people who feel they are entitled to his/her winnings.
