I think it's hilarious that some individual people were spending thousands of dollars on lottery tickets and spending hours filling out numbers, and the person in Maryland won on a $1 quick pick from a lottery vending machine. That should teach people a lesson.

It probably was the case, and I actually predicted that as it has happened so many times before. But no one can prove that the person did not buy 100 QP's previously or after, or 100 individual QP's etc. A lot also buy stacks of 5 rows for $5.00 and only tell you about the one that won. But the point is that it is certainly possible to win with one QP.

That should teach people a lesson. A good lesson for us all. There will always be people that assume that just throwing a lot of money at these games will produce big winners. May work in rare instances. Unless your a Warren Buffet type, keep your bets lite and for fun.

With all the tickets I bought I didn't even get two bucks. I did however get the number 38 several times on tickets bought at different places at different times.
Time to take a break I think... I find it funny that I've won more on one mistaken Powerball over a month ago than I have ever playing Mega Millions. You can't predict random.

"The person holding the winning Maryland ticket purchased it at 7:15 pm Friday night, buying just one quick pick ticket." HOW TO WIN THE LOTTERY BY NOT PLAYING=SAVE YOUR MONEY TO PLAY THE LOTTERY SOMEDAY.
I WILL PLAY THE LOTTERY SOMEDAY TO AVOID THE LOTTERY INSANITY. IT IS OKAY TO DREAM.

The running joke with me is "too bad they aren't softer, I'd use them as toilet paper." Hmm....how about soaking them in fabric softener first. By the following morning, should be as soft as your Charmin T/P. What a fitting tribute to all those crappy losing tickets!

Was it a major city like Chicago? No, it was town where the doctor, bank teller, teacher, police officer, dentist and baker are all the same person. We won't see that number ever again and PB won't ever make it to that amount. good combination, i don't want my baker being my dentist, puting extra suger in them goodies to decay my teeth, don't want my police being my teacher, giving me bad test marks and speeding tickets at the same time, don't want my doctor being a bank teller, handling filthy money and knowing my balance.
