Apparently the woman (37 year old Mirlande Wilson), was the organizer of a lotto pool at McDonald's, where she collected $5 from the participating co-workers for the Mega drawing on Friday. Mirlande is now claiming she went off and purchased a separate ticket on her own, and that was the lone winning ticket. She wants to claim the lump sum winnings of over $105 million for herself only. Her co-workers are furious, and are claiming she ripped them off.  Should make for a long and drawn out juicy story for all of us LP'ers!!!    Note: She claimed on the way back from work in Maryland (McDonald's), she decided to stop at the 7-11 to get the winning ticket) All her co-workers make $7.50/hour WOW!!!! I just read the article on NY Post apparently the clerk @ 7-11 said lottery officials came in looked at the surveillance video shows a man purchased the winning ticket.... This is already beginning to remind me of that NJ piece of sh*t Americo Lopes, who tried screwing five other lotto pool members out of 38 million. He lost his case, and is probably bankrupt now with the judge's ruling. | | |
