how were they impropery capitalized when i didn't use any capitals, as none should be necessary on these forums. it's your idiotic big blue letters to emphasize all your non-points that should be criticized and banned. i do not care if they claimed their prize anonymously or not. i have no designs on their money or anyone elses unless i know them. i just want winners disclosed since they won some of my money. what is their motiviation for doing it. is it to avoid the moochers or do they want to keep it all for themselves. all i'm saying is that unless they split town everyone is going to find out. it cannot be kept under their friends and relatives hats. not even possible. if they don't help out their local schools, fire, and librarys (the police can go pound sand, they don't deserve a dime) they will become somewhat of an outcast in their community. it is within their right to do what they want, but if they want to hide in their house with drapes drawn let them. that's too much money for them to handle. loosen up with it i say, and i'm sure their townspeople would agree. give it anonymously. give me a break. everyone would know and word would spread in less than an hour and they should announce that they are helping the town out since it would help keep others off their back. i have no designs on their money or anyone elses unless i know them.
Does not matter if you know them, you should not have any "designs" on other
peoples money, they might not want to share with you!!

A parasite rarely cares whether or not the source of its meal wants to share. In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

I should have known this thread was not over 11 pages of congrats to the winner. Just a back and forth with the bobosy twins sirbrad and faber98!! lol geeze!! Yes Nikki...there are things in life that you can't change/improve and those 2 taxpayers are part of that equation. Focusing on the negative and being nebbish in life has a way of producing a non-positive out look........Glad you and I don't share that point of view.......Stay positive and lets win a jackpot !!! Good luck on the next drawing Jackpots...Just Average Citizens Keeping Possibilities Open Towards Security

Here is the New Webster's Dictionary definition of PARASITE: An organism living in or on another living organism and deriving its nutriment partly or wholly from it, usually exhibiting some special adaptation, and often causing death or damage to its host.

Good luck on the next drawing Hey CD, after reading some of the posts on this thread all I can say is WOW!! a few here certainly have point of views that are borderline bizarre. If given the option like yourself, I see absolutely no reason not to claim a major jackpot anonymously. There are many good charitable deeds a winner can do with his/her winnings and all of which will lessen their Federal tax obligations. It's a win-win to be charitable and those lucky few who won more than likely have a strong support team who will provide solid guidance going forward. To think otherwise is just worthless rhetoric. After collecting their winnings, there will be additional tax burden in which proper planning will go a long ways toward minimizing/or eliminating the other 10% in Federal taxes that wasn't withheld.

Unfortunately, it's something we all encounter during our everyday rituals. Just because a few are upset at life in general doesn't mean the rest of us should share the same viewpoint.

When your time does arrive, you may no longer have any needs for "sponges". Jill..........It would be nice if they afforded us folks down here that opportunity to remain anonymous when collecting. I have heard enough issues arise from the winning"drama" collectors to cure me of ever saying anything public. Silence is truly golden !!! We shall see if Ms. Wilson "found" her "misplaced" ticket? Maybe it will be me at that press conference tomorrow? I did pick up a few tickets at that 7-11, while I was passing through that area on that fateful Friday.

C.T. Forget about trying to educate those who have closed minds and set ways. You can not ever fix the nebbish or the gormless of our society. No matter how many facts or how much evidence you present. They have been brainwashed into tunnel vision and its become their only lifestyle choice. Best of luck in your next jackpot purchase. CDanaT, Yeah, and when the nebbish wants to be a gonif, oy! DiscussiOn boards Seem to have a lot of MAVEN U. alumni. MAVEN U. OPINION OVER KNOWLEDGE You know it's odd, there have been plenty of discussions on LP about remaining anonymous or not, and those got divided into "Not telling anyone anything" vs "Sout it from the rooftops". This toime around is the first time people actually got viscious about not what they would do but wht other people should do. I got a hunch that a few people reading this thread who might not have planned on remaining anonymous would do so now, with a glimpse at what's out there. Good Luck on your tickets, too. Todd, I'm sure a lot of us are on pins and needles waiting for the news from Maryland, thanks. When all states allow winners to remain anonymous some clod will want a press conference.
