If I would have won, the first thing I would have bought was enough cigarettes to last the rest of my life! 10 Tractor Trailer loads should about do it. You could smoke 24/7 and have plenty of packs remaining for all your smokin buds!

Surprised that no one else finds it odd that the record jackpot was claimed by all anonymous people. Smells like a scam to me. Especially since 3 people won. I could understand one person wanting to be anonymous but not 3 people. The integrity of the lottery just went down yet again and that will cost them money. Congrats to the lottery headquarters for another fine cover up!

I want you all to know I have already won the next megamillions and am hiding my ticket now. It is in the glass case under the US Constitution at the National Archives (in Washington, DC) since no one will think to look there...but I may move it. I will be wearing a raspberry beret that says "anonymous megamillions winner."

Nah, the best (or worst) was some years ago, when an LP member claimed to have won a JP (before the real winners showed up). That thread was a riot. In neo-conned Amerika, bank robs you. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store, not a govnoment agency.

A big THANK YOU to the Maryland Lottery for helping us to get a video recording of the entire press conference. I have added the video to the news story, so you can now watch the entire press conference, including opening statement and Q&A. Personally, I always enjoy hearing/watching the raw footage, because news stories always leave certain interesting tidbits out. Thanks Todd...... Win BIG everyone..... I would buy lots of fancy coffee drinks and bubble gum (double bubble is the best). A frappucino a day!

I think Ms. Wilson will continue to inspire many of us for years to come. She was a once in a lifetime gift to all of humanity.

I think Ms. Wilson will continue to inspire many of us for years to come. She was a once in a lifetime gift to all of humanity. So true. Everyone I know who plays the lottery has said to me (at least once) they have the winning ticket and hid it. This will be a reference people will be looking up 50 years from now and wondering "what are the origins of that joke?" It will be like the origins of "that's my story and I am sticking to it." A very interesting story as well.
