This is pretty fun.  I like to garden so I am picking numbers related to bulbs, butterflies, etc.

For # 12--Maybe it refers to Mary Magdelene (although there is some debate about her "profession.")

Excellent point on #12!

They do this in Jamaica and Malaysia as well.

Jamaica has a game called "Cash Pot" where they select a number between 1 and 36. I am not sure that they put the meanings up on the website anymore, but each number had a meaning (e.g. 5 was "thief" and 20 was "sick person.")

If you search a Pick-4 number on the Malaysia Lottery's website, it will have a meaning associated with it. For example, my birthday (0104) is "tiger-bone medicinal wine."

The first time that I won money from the lottery was in 2008--on Leap Year Day.

In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play!
