Definitely wasn't me, but the disappointing feeling was all too familiar! I have this habit of checking this site first to see if anyone won -- and where -- instead of just checking my numbers. It was pretty much the same deal as November 2011: 'Jackpot winner in Connecticut!' I jump up, run to get my tickets and return with lost breath, only to have what little of it I have yanked out of me. Then the tears start.. well, not really. Congratulations to the the winner(s), though. The ticket was bought in New Haven, which was somewhat surprising. I hope they're smart with their money and enjoy every second after that nice deposit! I believe all players in the winning state get super excited. When I see "Jackpot winner in Illinois," which rarely happens, I think "Could it really be?!" Then I check my ticket and reality kicks in. No, it wasn't. | | |
