Kimberly M. Bates, 40, Kanawha, pleaded guilty to second-degree theft, a Class D felony, in Hancock County District Court. Bates must serve three years probation and pay $1,039 in victim restitution. If the Iowa Department of Corrections deems it appropriate, she must also undergo mental health treatment. An additional charge of lottery forgery or fraud was dismissed. Second-degree theft and lottery forgery or fraud are both Class D felonies. Bates was charged in connection with the alleged theft of lottery tickets from the Pronto Store in Kanawha, where she was formerly employed. I believe that Ms. Bates was so determined to win a lottery jackpot and that made her steal the lottery tickets. Poor Bates, she was caught and will be punished for what she've done. | | |

Hum, mcginnin56, I like to eat cheese. I don't think that cheese likes me back though.  I've heard others say the moon is made of cheesecake, maybe that would be more to your liking.
