This is pretty puzzling. Since he was pretty well off already, there seems to be little incentive for his wife to kill him for a mere $400,000 or so. He easily would have turned that money into millions judging by his financial acumen.

Strange as it may seem, he may have felt guilty about breaking his vow and guilty about taking the money which would make more sense that he would end up dead before he collected the money, not after and he would have access to cyanide in his line of work.

To kill her husband the day before he was to collect the check would just be ignorant and even an idiot would know that would draw lots of attention.

Deeply religious people do strange things, he would not be the first.

BTW, Illinois Lottery is privately run and their checks clear just fine.

"Deeply religious people do strange things..."

Deeply anti-religious people do much stranger things.

There's some nutjob atheist group in Wisconsin that gets offended about the Ten Commandments being displayed in Tennessee. They always demand that they be taken down or they will sue. Talk about nuts with too much time on their hands...

People don't come much nuttier than atheists.

I have an appreciation for dinosaurs, they're BIG.  I don't want them to return though, as I would be afraid. Scared

It is a very tragic incident of "Homicide"...People were not hesitant to take away one's life due to money...Khan is a great person according to his wife, yet he was killed...I feel so sorry for the family.

I agree but the anti-religion people around here are just anti-Christian (they're afraid of the other guys) so my response was specific to them.

I Agree! For people who don't want the use of "titles" they sure make use of the "anti-religion" title.

What a bunch of cloak and dagger misfits that group is...............
