The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery drawing has increased to $33 million.

None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's $26 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Friday.

There were three second-prize winner from Tuesday night's drawing worth $175,000. Those winning tickets were sold in Illinois, Maryland and New York.

The winning numbers from Tuesday's drawing were 9, 28, 42, 44 and 49. The Mega Ball number was 47.
