Well, I'll glad to know so many perfect people! I feel sorta bad now, knowing that I have made many mistakes, while the people here are perfect. Personally, I have been to a Strip bar before, I have gotten drunk before, I have gambled before(just playing the lottery is gambling), I have driven drunk before, I have had money stolen before. I have cussed someone out in public before(though not in a bar). What I haven't done is given $14 million dollars to charity.

well that makes two of us. heck i can add to that list. done ALOT more than that myself. so whats your point? especially after you yourself have made anti-"jack" comments in here before. if "jack" wasn't accountable for his actions, society wouldn't have enacted laws to punish his behavior. last time i checked, we as a people vote-in laws in this country. there is a vast difference between being stupid and thumbing your nose at the law. jack is guilty of both. if jack was only guilty of being stupid, you would have a case. "don't stone him to death, but keep him accountable that he might turn his life around" (a semi-famous poster at lottery post who happens to follow a jewish carpenter) VISION

My comment was really directed at the public in general. Just because he won a lottery doesn't make him Ambassador of the lottery. He's not a role model. If I ever win the lottery, and I choose to personally raise the price of stock in the Jack Daniels Distillery, grace the women of various strip clubs with my money, and have very large black velvet paintings of Elvis and Dogs Playing Poker in every room of my house, it's my business.

Possible. Or at least someone in his family does.
Okay, now I believe you can predict lottery numbers

Possible. Or at least someone in his family does. I hope someone in his family does. And sees our colorful responses to this article and he dishes out a few million for all of us to stop commenting on his misfortunes.

I live near a big city, and every day when I drive to work I see homeless people in the streets and beside the road with signs saying "Will work for food". It is my opinion that if you can afford the computer and internet time to actually post here, then you are surviving. When I was laid off a few years ago, internet access, cable, cell phone were the first to go.

some people are getting on "jack" because they believe that THEY would have been a better steward of that money and rightfully so. but the people who have a legitimate beef with what jack has done with his "jack" are the ones that remember jack's own words about who he was....as a man. those words and his behavior are worlds apart at least for now. i guess you can say that he invited the scrutiny on his own life. if he hadn't said anything, no expectations would have been "expected" (at least not by me). shoot i don't expect good behavior from someone who rolls into ALOT of cash. but it sure would be nice if someone who did, actually had integrity and was a good steward of a gift like that. in the rear view mirror of life, i can only control my choices and what i do. altruism 101 (and jack, i am still rooting for you to pick yourself up and "finish" well. i am praying for you jack......and i could care less about your "jack") 20/20
