No one matched all six numbers drawn in the final Super 6 Lotto drawing Tuesday night, 8-9-11-23-44-45.
The $8,115,513 million cash jackpot prize - more than one million dollars greater than the estimated cash jackpot of $7 million -- rolled down into the lower prize tiers for the game, awarding 70,518 players enhanced prizes.
The jackpot money was shared proportionately by second-, third- and fourth-tier winners:
$2,839,054 - 33.33 percent of the prize pool - was allocated to match-five prizes,
$2,661,879 - 31.25 percent of the prize pool - was allocated to match-four prizes, and,
$3,017,080 - 35.42 percent of the prize pool - was allocated to match-three prizes.
Money allocated to each prize category is divided equally among the winners in that category.

Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Lottery Ed Mahlman said the Lottery decided to reward loyal Super 6 players by rolling down the jackpot prize into lower tiers for the final drawing.
"Players who won $3,818.50 for matching five-of-six numbers drawn last Tuesday tonight had a chance to take home a prize more than 18 times that, a result of this roll-down," said Mahlman. "Super 6 has developed a loyal player base over the past five years, and we're happy to provide this exciting bonus to those loyal players as we retire the game."
Super 6 sales from the game's Sept. 6, 1998 inception through this evening total $1,032,873,747. Since about 37 cents from every Lottery sales dollar is dedicated to funding programs for older Pennsylvanians, Super 6 Lotto generated more than $382 million for the Commonwealth's older residents.
I'd like to see a roll down game, but I agree, the payouts wouldn't be that good for it. I don't know if it was cause of the numbers drawn or what, but I'm surprised that many people played Stupid 6 last night. But I guess word of the roll down got out and prompted more players to play.
I remember that Delaware's (Multistate) roll down game paid about 3 times for roll down. Not bad. Impressed the clerk with a $39 cash-in (3 numbers ot of 5 drawn out of 45? Can't remember but it was more than 39 like cash 5.
For those of us buying our Match 6 tickets yesterday at lunch time in Harrisburg at Strawberry Square, we were entertained by Local Live at 5 Anchor Dennis Owens. Nothing like being on TV.
Best I ever did on that game is when a while back when local vendor had a promotion that if one of each ticket was purchased, your name was thrown into the box, and winner got a t-shirt . So a stupor 6 was one of them and lo and behold, I had 4 numbers and got around $50. The next day, the store called me and I won a T-shirt, too.
Of course I am one of the many who couldn't wait to buy Power Ball in Pa. (Used to win in Delaware) and never played super 6 unless, of course, as explained above, it was absolutely necessary.
One more comment. I sure miss those calendars that the Lottery Bureau Gave away and especially the coupons. That's our Gov. And I work for him. No nothing for us.
Oh lucky them I was not one of them, but my co-worker and his wife were. Not bad. He said he spent $10 worth of tickets and won $44.
Pa. should have a roll-down game like this full time. Probably wouldn't pay this good though.
Thoughts, anyone?
