I don't see anything about Sarah Palin that is thin-skinned in the least. She is a tough Alaskan. I think people will see just how tough she is when she debates plagiarizin' Joe Biden in a few weeks.

I don't think she has said anything publicly about Obama's gaffe, so I do not see how one could draw any opinion at all about her as it relates to the pig comment.

Sarah Palin: "You know what they say the difference is between a hockey mom and a pit bull?

Lipstick!"

If you substitute the words "football, baseball, basketball, or soccer" for "hockey" and if "they" means coaches, referees, and umpires, I can certainly relate to her comment. So if someone asked me if I would be uncomfortable if one of these moms became President of the United States, I would answer "no".

However, this doesn't mean that I believe all sports moms, dads, grandmas, or ... [ More ]

Just a brief P.S. regarding Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment. I didn't find it any more distressing than the "lipstick on a pig" comment made earlier in this campaign by McCain - in reference to Clinton plan for universal health care. The rancor coming out in this campaign, on BOTH sides, is very disappointing.

Call me the eternal curmudgeon but I have to disagree. This November, I plan to leave the President block "blank" on my ballot. Neither Obama/Biden nor McCain/Palin excite me in the least ... and I've never EVER voted for "the lesser of two evils." I'm 58 now and, needless to day, a lot of Presidential blocks were left blank over the years ... not just this time around. However, I do remember once casting a "protest" vote for Lyndon LaRouche (grin) because he was the only candidate talking a...
I agree with your sentiments here, and I also thought of Reagan, a very good comparison to her. But the video (and subsequent comments posted to your blog) are akin to the Obama "lipstick on a pig" comments yesterday. Another one of his non-stop negative comments designed to attack indirectly, so he can *claim* innocence.

Liberals started posting that newscast because they thought it made her look bad, not out of innocent curiosity.

I accept your comment at face value, however, and I apo... [ More ]
