It makes sense to be skeptical, but there is such a thing as going overboard to the point that everything becomes bad and evil. American is imperfect, but that's first and foremost because mankind is imperfect. China. China is predicted to become #1, India #2, Mexico #3 and we will fall to # 4, Canada will move up in the ranks, maybe even surpassing the US, and so on. England will have a lowering of living standards and they will lose their place in the rank of countries. Yes, there will be no American Dream for your children. @Kaptainess- I'm reading and re-reading every comment here, and I can't see any personal attacks on you or name-calling. Am I missing something? If anything, it looks like Jarasan and I have agreed that serious problems exist, but I don't think the answer is to turn a cold shoulder or not vote. If the USA will not become great again, then what country will? Again, nobody has attacked you (at least that I can see). I think there's a lot of upset people -- upset that our kids' future... I beg your pardon!?!?! Name calling is a part of an adult discussion, nor placing labels on people, nor personally attacking them to prove ones point of view. Sure, my point of view doesn't line up with yours, that is why we have open forums here. I did not give raw data to my concerns feeling its too hideous to think about or even put in print. I agree. The media's coverage of Obama is so biased that I have actually put a parental control on MSNBC. I do not even want to inadvertentally see that station.

I agree, the public has largely become a controllable mass of misinformed, ignorant people who are more concerned with the divorce of some people on TLC than they are about their freedom. It's what happens as people lose track of what it took to become the country we are. The people of today don't have a sacrifice a thing, and I don't think they would if it came to it.

Where the country is "right now", is a direct result of an misinformed, manipulated mass of USAmerican citizens that voted blindly for GANGSTAPUPPETOTUSPOS with no intellectual investment as to whom they were voting for. I believe they ($$h!tk stream media) slowly but surely are going to come to regret their deal with the GANGSTAPUPPETOTUSPOS. The media is soooo invested in HIS success they don't even understand what they are rooting for and promoting. They forgot about America in lieu of an idol (false god).

I have such intense disdain for the massive bias being played out in major newspapers and TV broadcasts in the USA.

It is a complete lack of honesty, and any remnant of journalistic integrity has been discarded a long time ago. The media is nothing but an arm of the Democrat party at this point.

Democrats: it might make you feel good that the media is so firmly supporting everything your party stands for, but don't deceive yourself: it is YOUR country that is going down the toilet because of a lack of an independent news media. You are no longer getting the truth. You are getting force-fed messages that alter and control your opinion.

Obama's Repeated Golf Outings During War and Recession Garner Little Criticism

President Barack Obama has gone to the golf course at least 11 times since he took the oath of office a little more than six months ago — three rounds were played during the late January, 12-day holiday Obama took with his family in Hawaii; one at Andrews Air Force Base; and seven at Ft. Belvoir Golf Course, including a round on Sunday, Father's Day, with Vice President Joe Biden.

These 11 rounds played by the president are documented through media reports of his golf trips. The White House press office told CNSNews.com that to confirm every round of golf played by the president since he took office would take "hours" because the only records kept are those sent to the media through e-mails that are not posted on the White House Web site because they are for media planning only.

Despite ongoing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, ongoing violence in Iran, and an economy that Obama has described as the worst since the Great Depression, the president has golfed multiple times in the past several weeks — on April 26, May 16, May 25, May 31, June 7, June 9, June 14 and June 21.

Obama's golf outings have generated favorable reports from the media, in contrast to his predecessor, George W. Bush.....
