I don't know how cold 4 degrees celsius is these day.... I try to not let my mind wander into such matters.  It has a difficult enough time keeping track of Fahrenheit... even spelling it.

I had a lot of Gujarati training in Peace Corps training in '64 .... hunh ha.  T'may Kaem che? Hunhh majama chunh.  T'may be'n kem che?  Maro be'n majama che. etc.

      <description><![CDATA[Jack, very good...thats gujrati alright and is a very commonly used term so easy to understand. I can see that you have been exposed to our Gujju community..hahaha! I'm from the north, New Delhi and am Punjabi. Our state language is very different and so is our cuisine and so are our men ( ours being more macho if I may say so...hahaha)!!

      <description><![CDATA[Thanks shalini:  T'may kaem che?  (Not sure how alike Hindi and Gujarati might be)

Good to hear someone missed them missing blog enteries.  
It's still good to be home, but less good than it was earlier before the temperature began to drop.  Still, probably better now than it will be around 2am when I figure I'll stick an exploratory toe outside the covers to check for frostbite.  That will still be good, but will require a bit of circumspection to appreciate how good it it is and why.

      <description><![CDATA[<p>Made glorious summer by this son of York.</p><p>Hi blogsters:</p><p>I hope all's well with you.</p><p>I just returned home to discover I'm still a man rich in cats.&nbsp; Contented cats, as cats tend to be when anything they're used to changes a bit.&nbsp; Such as someone they're used to having around fairly consistently leaves for a spell.&nbsp; Makes them happy.&nbsp; Adds variety to their lives.&nbsp; Contentment.&nbsp; Which they communicate by finding interesting places to upchuck, etc.</p><p>While I was gone I made the horrifying discovery that there used to be a lot of violence in the world.</p><p>Which, of course, is no longer the case.</p><p>Later,</p><p>Jack</p>]]></description>
