yes, i mean private messages. it would b very nice. most times if um workin' on sumthin' as an Xample, i'll use LD, Hand, Picks, they will get the exact same email, now um gone push the enevelope again and add, the BCC also. now if that's a bit much i understand. but even if u do it for the premium just as a CC: as an extra feature, i'd luv that! thanks

Option To Freeze Auto-Refresh

When I'm doing lottery work on a results page or history page, ect... I get annoyed at the auto-refresh cycle which interrupts my work, not to mention my train of thought.

If there were a button to freeze the page and temporarily cancel the auto-refresh, I would use it every time.

Maybe it would work best if members could select that option to work globally through their Control Panel Board Settings page.

Maybe. It becomes an issue of performance at some point. The thing we can't have is a query running that is so complex that is impacts the performance of the site for everyone else. So it is something I cal mull and possibly test, but I don't have an answer. Thanks for the suggestion.

There is a page with big red warning messages about not posting links that every new member has to look at before registering, so if you weren't aware of the rule, I have done my best to make you aware.

The custom lottery results page is what I want. However, I need to be able to sort the list by result so that I can see the trend for the night. Have you ever noticed that all the lotteries coming out for a certain night will be within a given range? If I can isolate the pattern (and there is one) then I can figure out what the first number of the draw will be. Or at least give me an advantage play by giving me a range to stick in. Then the rest of the numbers are contingent of the first. I can

Is it possible to add another tab for predicting just two numbers. One for a no match 321 and one for double digit 223. Many of the predictors give TOO many numbers. It's too costly if you are playing with a limited budget. This way we can know who really has the gift of selecting number. The tab also could include all States or a speciifc state. Can you also include outside countries like China? I really want to know if given only two numbers who picks the most right.

That sounds like a good idea. I'll try to work it in when I revamp the predictions posting page. In the meantime, RJOh has a good suggestion: save your picks using Notepad, or Excel, or Word (or anything else) and paste them in. It should save a little time.

Yes, you're right, there are a few other graphs that would be interesting. A raw dollars per day graph might not be illuminating though, because it would not show how much someone spent to get the dollars. Maybe a prize ratio graph would be better. Do you think? Hit ratio too.

That's a good point. It would be useful to hare something automatically break apart the numbers. I will keep that in mind.

In the meantime, Excel is a great tool for breaking apart numbers. Copy and paste the block of numbers and then do a text to columns command.

Yes, that is one of the options I have planned. I know there is some frustration about some limitations on posting predictions, which makes it take a little longer than it should to post. I hear you, and it is definitely on my list of things to do. I have a big project which I'm trying to complete right now, and it is consuming most of my time, so things like this have taken a back seat. I hope you'll bear with me as I try to manage a huge workload. I'll get to it as soon as I'm able.

The best way to report abusive posts is by clicking the Report Abuse link directly on the post in question, which automatically sends me all the pertinent information, such as username and a link to the post. If possible, I'd prefer to keep the Suggestions forum for just suggestions.

I have recommended LotteryPost to many people, and one person told me that the main web address doesn't work. It did work correctly for me and not for him which seemed odd to me.

After some investigation, I noticed that http://lotterypost.com redirects to http://www.usamega.com/

Of course http://www.lotterypost.com works correctly (which is what I have bookmarked). Usually when I verbally quote a site I will say "...go to abcd.com" and not say "www.abcd.com" and this person was not typing

Would it be possible for you to allow posting picks for all states using an evening only option? that way you can post evening picks if you miss the cutoff for the mid-day (and reduce the amount of picks you make)

I suppose a mid-day / evening / or both would be best... because now If I am working on a pick but miss the mid-day cutoff, I have to go in and post to each state.

On a given day there are only about a dozen different topics that have activity in the Mystical forum. So if something is posted in the early morning, by late evening, it will have moved only a about dozen positions in the forum, still clearly visible, and definitely not buried because it is still on page 1 of the topic listing.

If you think the description for Mystical covers a lot, Pick 3 has it beat by a mile, and it is still one forum.

I have posted in the systems forum about the importance of gaps. LP has the capacity to do all I suggest already.

Basic Tool will

1. Take a list of numbers (as in the deflate and inspect tools)

2. Box the numbers

3. Produce list of numbers boxed and in asc/desc order.

4. Detect gaps in this new list: I suggest 1 integer and possibly 2 integer gaps.

e.g the numbers 8260, 4596, 4068, 1937 when boxed and arranged in order would be

Rick#2 you were a little hard on Rick#1. The ones you should be down on are the people asking Rick#1 to bring up the idea. If they were serious about a RNG for just a few select numbers, they would write those numbers on pieces of papers, put them in to sack, shake it and pick them out by hand.

Or they could do what I did and write their own.

And if they really got serious as I did, they would add features that could check the sums, gaps, number positions and etc. of each random combin... [ More ]

Thanks for the suggestion about using Excel. I just tried it and it's great! You can certainly view a lot more that way than how I was doing it. I just didn't know it was possible to copy and paste things like that into Excel.

I understand, but there comes a point when doing such complex searches becomes so taxing on the database that it can actually disrupt the entire web site if too many people do simultaneous searches. 10 was a good number for many reasons, including being a good balance between performance and flexibility, and the fact that it lets you search for all triples (and other popular Pick 3 searches).

I think this may have given another spammer the same idea, because another LP member tipped me off to someone trying to get people to instant message him for his syndicate .

Showing someone punching a button does NOT show the drawing, and that's the point. It is IMPOSSIBLE to know what is happening in that computer that is causing those numbers to be drawn.

Computers can be programmed to do anything. For exmaple, you can easily program a computer so that when the operator presses an 8 key, it really outputs a 7 . As far as rigging a drawing, a computer could be programmed to generate a specific set of numbers (or to avoid a certain set of numbers) and then

I would like to make a suggestion for the V-Trac page to be able to search V-Tracs, option- V-Tracs with Lottery Math, and the V-Trac Mirrors. I'm sure members will upgrade to Platinum + to access this feature.

Twenty some odd respondants out of 48,000 LP Members hardly seems like a lot of participation in the poll.

Blogs may be able to be cleaned up by archiving the Blog entries you have updated with more recent material. In that way the material is still available in the archive instead of deleted forever.

Many of us are using EXCEL to develop systems of our own. Many members are beginning to use EXCEL and need some tutoring on formulas, structures, analysis tools, etc. It would be nice if we could use this forum to share ideas and processes.

Obviously, it may not be appropriate to call it EXCEL because that is a brand name. However, what about a spreadsheet forum to discuss the things mentioned above.

If you're talking about the 'bright vs. dim icons next to the threads in the topic listing, those different icons represent new posts in the thread, not new threads. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a legend showing what all of the icons mean.

The other thing you can do is if you know of another forum web site that has a feature you like (which doesn't exist already on Lottery Post), send me a link to the site through a Private Message and I will take a look to see if... [ More ]

Downloading them's not much of an issue since the older results are vanishing every day, the depths of histories for various lotteries shortening.

Won't be long, it appears, before you won't be able to search backward past January -05 on any of them.

What about adding a user's ranking to the user's prediction statistics page? That way those of us not always in the top 50 can see where we actually rank. That could also be helpful for someone looking at another's statistics.

Those are all excellent suggestions, thank you. I had intended to make time zone an option a while back, but never got around to it. I don't know why I never put a last updated time on the reults. Duh.

By the way, anyone notice the nice speed improvements? Pages are loading much quicker, thanks to a few hours of adjustments this morning.
