I would be extremely surprised if they shut it down now. But NC has done embarrassing things for years.

Certain folk are tired of seeing millions and millions of dollars going to our neighboring state. NC should take note that calling a lottery "illegal" have stopped very few North Carolinians from buying tickets in SC and not just the powerball but all lottery games, scratch-off, daily games, pick 5 games and so on.
