He won part of a $12 million dollar Lotto Texas jackpot, and now he's home.

Lottery officials say the big winner in the May 23rd drawing was the Las Colinas Lottery Group.

More than two dozen people pooled their money, at 20 bucks a month, to play.

Among them was Master Sergeant Bethurel Griffin of Arlington. He deployed to Iraq in June of 2006, but Griffin had paid in advance to stay in the lotto pool.
