They try to be more profitable like the NY lottery by cutting down the number and size of prizes anywhich way they can.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[The Thursday Pick 4 midday drawing results of 1-0-2-0 paid out more than $1.5 million in prizes, according to the Maryland Lottery.<br /><br />That's 5 times as much as players spent on Pick 4 tickets for the drawing. The lottery sold $289,723 in tickets for the drawing and rewarded $1.5 million in prizes.<br /><br />In addition, the past two days have been very exciting for Pick 4 players.
