      <description><![CDATA[Glad to see somebody get the ball rolling.<br /><br />I don't understand why stuff like this always has to take forever. State Lotteries need more movers and shakers instead of the slow-motion bureaucrats they always seem to have. Too bad we can't vote out the ones who move with the speed of a three toed sloth.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[The South Carolina Education Lottery Commission voted Tuesday to move forward with the proposal to add the Mega Millions game to the line-up of games currently offered for sale in the Palmetto State.<br /><br />The nine-member Board voted unanimously to allow cross-selling of Mega Millions and Powerball as early as January 31, 2010.<br /><br />South Carolina is one of 31 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands belonging to the Multi-State Lottery Association which operates Powerball.
