      <description><![CDATA[I live in New Jersey. I'm against the State killing the goose that laid a golden egg.<br /><br />In our state, having a mayor's office is transitional to earning a jail cell.<br /><br />If they're selling the lottery, you can be sure that cronyism is involved, probably an extra helicopter or two for Chris Christie or a crony.<br /><br />They sell it, I at least live close enough to the PA border to buy my tickets there.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[As far as a private company handling sales and marketing for the NJ lottery, I think that private companies are better suited to handle those aspects. State governments shouldn't be in the business of marketing and sales. Most state governments can barely handle the job they have. This might be a step in the right direction.]]></description>

The state should still oversee the lotto games. Total privatization of the lotto games may suffer the same pitfalls of privatizing social security.]]></description>
