      <description><![CDATA[strange they should force you to pick in wa. state its not even listed on the play slip anymore nor is it listed on oregon's playslip. the multiplier is a lame way to make a small amount of money. they should try to come up with a way of making a bigger pot - we even had a multiplier for the jackpot in on the wa. state lottery - that was the only time i got the multiplier - its worth it if it includes the jackpot. but the extra buck only doubled the prize and the funny thing was someone won it a...       <description><![CDATA[The Texas Lottery Commission on Thursday entered into a contract with the Mega Millions multistate lottery, which over the past year had average jackpots of more than $40 million.The commission next will begin purchasing equipment such as a random number generator to prepare for the launch later this year.  The date hasn't been set, but executive director Reagan Greer said it probably will be after Thanksgiving.The long-term agreement has a six-month  out clause,  Greer said.The commission also]]></description>
