Then he said that he would be back Friday to do it again........<br /><br />When I ran a pool and bought a big number of tickets I would manually pick all the powerball/meg ball numbers 1-the max.<br /><br />That way I was guarranteed to have at least one winner.<br /><br />So far I have bought 10 tickets $1 at 10 different stores. At the time, rates may have favored that, but right now a person should really take the cash option because of the unbelievable payout amount (thanks to crappy economic numbers affecting rates) and uncertainty over future tax rates. Seeing as the last chances to play end an hour before the drawing, they would have to have access to all the numbers from every store in every state and then have less than an hour to determine which numbers were not played and then rig the appropriate balls which would be a Herculean task in itself.]]></description>

If I recall he won maybe close to $200 million also so it was either a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot.       <description><![CDATA[I support charities today and I never do it by forking over cash. I don't want my money covering per diems for lofty fact finding trips to Africa. So I would do things like buy groceries for children's homes based on their current needs or clothing or building material for expansion initiatives. Only difference if I ever become wealthy would be to set up my own charity iniative who would manage the causes I support in these very ways I do and of course on a much larger scale.]]></description>

Build a $10-$12m house, with property taxes of 2%-2.5%, and you have a monthly tax bill of $20k-$25k.<br /><br />I'm guessing a house like I would want, built conventionally, would probably cost less than 5 million. But I'm doubling it for the technological upgrades I want to try to make it self-sufficient. I plan to push the limits of solar technology, etc.]]></description>
