I was looking at the Cash Value comparison here on USA MEGA and the jackpots are almost identical too each other in cash. But one annuity is $12 million for Mega Millions and $15 million for Powerball. I have two draws left on my Mega Millions so I would like a win. USA Mega Launched

mega millions results
Well congrats to mets and royals for making it to the fall classic. I had two tickets and no numbers on my mega millions tickets and no mega balls either. So no prize tonight better luck on tuesday night if it rolls over. I think in the morning when I check usa mega to see the results I will try two seperate tickets from two different stores. Like one from circle k and one from big apple market instead of two from the same store like circle k. Change it up a bit....

Mega Millions
Well I was looking at the mega millions jackpot analysis feature here at usa mega and I think that it will be hard for me to turn down the annuity over 26 years then the cash. Sure you get half all at once but you can also get over a million a year for 26 years. So I doubt that I will spend a million over one year. Maybe the first year just because I will be helping my sister and her husband out and my mother too. But the other 25 years I will be hard pressed to spend...

Search using the 2001 version of Google
I just stumbled on a very cool thing. Google just turned 10 years old, and one of the things they did to celebrate is to bring back their very first search index from 2001 and they let you run searches using it! The site even uses the early Google logo. When you bring up search results, they have an option to view the page from the Internet Archive, so you can see what the page looked like way back in 2001! Powerball
I was on the main page of usa mega looking at the jackpot analysis for powerball and just day dreaming about the money. $108.8 million cash is what I would take so I probably would end up with just about $54 million give or take a few million after taxes in 2013. But it would be awesome because I would be set for the rest of my life. After the wait for the check from powerball and then the wait to clear the check at my bank I could have a nice 2013....

Catching up on recent data for PB/MM
I have not tracked PB or MM in a long time. I found the fastest way to get a spreadsheet for each game was through the PA lottery crappy website 1 year at a time. Copy/paste (special) then clean and sort. Took a little under an hour to create spreadsheets with the current matrix in both games. Too bad PA doesn't have an API (application programming interface) so the process could be automated with a decent script. Still sharp on the spreadsheet skills though! Powerball
Well I love to look at the jackpot analysis on usa mega home page to see how much money I would win if I was the only winner on saturday night. Just day dreaming about the money and how I would take the annuity for the thirty years because I am 37 now so in thirty years I will be 67.
