How is this not a massive fraud by the Florida Lottery?
Politics has been sketchy for long as organized society has existed. Sunshine laws aren't overly effective - never have been. If government wants to hide something they will - local governments can be as bad, if not worse than state and federal in this regard. Special interest groups and lobbyists are often what it takes to have a chance at meaningful reforms. Shame you don't want to take it any further, but I totally understand - takes much time, effort, and money. Maybe someone else will - wou ...

How is this not a massive fraud by the Florida Lottery?
I am not going to start a non-profit to combat this. The governor of Florida is a crook who bought his way to the last two elections and since his massive Medicaid/medicare fraud did not result in jail time and the state rewards slimeballs with elections to office, I have no faith that there is a single government entity that will pursue this matter. Florida is where every sex offender, crook, ex-con and carpetbagger run out of town on a rail somewhere else eventually ends up. It is the Wild Wes ...

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
No, the Federal Government don;t need any more new rule or regulations to steal any more freedom of choice from people. We are adults, here lately our government, as gone to far with their restricting adult activity. The don't give us credit, that we're wise enough to know what we really want to do. or credit to make our own decisions. Our Government, is inching closer to the line of no return. It seem to be head toward taking FREE WILL away. A right the Almighty give not them. Enough is enough. ...

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
Gambling is a personal matter. This government intends to limit or restrict any or all personal rights, and dictate everything, period!!

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
Not a big fan of online gambling but the Federal Government is constantly pumping out new rules and regulations which really hamper our freedoms.

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
It drives me nuts when people in government think that restricting GAMBLING is the key to this country's success. With all the financial problems, the rise of ISIS and terrorism in general, illegals flooding the borders, corruption, government spying, etc., this guy thinks restricting GAMBLING is going to solve our ills. I've got some great advice for the Republicans in their newly-controlled Congress: Lower taxes for everyone, put in place a better healthcare plan, stop spying on your citize ...

State lotteries head to Washington to enforce states' rights on gambling
I am very happy that this Congress member in Utah has to go through many subcommittees ,and full committees before facing the Full House for a majority of votes. Then to the Senate before going to the President. We complain how slow politics is but this is one case where Representative Government displays wisdom of our founders. Good Luck to all Lottery Post members and Staff with tonight's Power Ball !

How much for the tithe?
But my charity organization will actually do something for good. Some politicians do it and get away with it without actually doing good things. At least I want to do good things since I am a firsthand witness of government fraud and waste.

States that win too often should be punished.
Just like people who work hard and succeed, they should be punished by the Government taking away their money and giving it to crack heads and lazy bums.( Extreme sarcasm)

The Lottery Truck
Obviously there would be a lot of things to consider with this endeavor. It would most probably have to have some kind of government/state employees running it to keep it legit. It couldn't be run by just any Tom,Dick or Harry. Plus it might even have to carry an armed guard. The con's , I'm sure, would out weigh the pros but I still wouldn't mind one passing in front of my house once in awhile :)
