Winning North Carolina Pk4
I got it PLS along with thousands of others I am sure. Coming from a law enforcement family, and having many of them as friends I'm heartbroken of the outcome of the Greensboro police officer.

The story was just updated to include additional information about the possible culprits of the hack. However, as the updated story explains, this is just a claim and not proof as the lottery and law enforcement have not verified their claims.

$1.35 billion Mega Millions lottery winner suing mother of his child for revealing win to family
She could disclose it to the court as long as it was not a public filing and asked for the judge to review the info in camera. This process is used for sensitive or confidential info. There is always a judicial or law enforcement exception to NDAs and other private agreements.

Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
I am also bothered by the invasion of privacy in their own home. This went way beyond due diligence procedures verifying a win. The couple should have been asked to bring ID with their address to a lottery office. If a photo needed to be taken, it should have been on lottery property. This is not a criminal investigation by law enforcement. This all seems harassment based.

Those Honda's are forever cars, just leave the keys in the ignition with a note: It's all yours. New docu series on hulu-1st episode is about Abraham Shakespeare
Not that it would have helped (possibly) in the Shakespeare case but this is a prime example why EVRY state should allow the winner of any lottery amount the opportunity to remain anonymous. I live in 1 of 10 states that does not afford the winner of a lottery any opportunity to remain anonymous. The state lottery will print your name and city where you live. I'm retired from law enforcement and can't imagine the the lawsuits that would come out of the woodwork if it was announced that I won

$70 million Michigan Powerball winner says lottery winners should be able to remain anonymous
The lottery knows about scammers and the increased burden on law enforcement caused by revealing names but they don't care because someone else has to deal with that. States that let winners stay anonymous don't seem to have problems increasing sales or selling tickets. Please back your assertion with facts about how much identifying winners increases sales. Michigan went anonymous for state games in 1988/89 and they have had increasing sales almost every year after that! Identi

Police do not have to file charges or even establish guilt in these cases before seizing and keeping property and there is no limit to what police can seize.
