Accusations of "disturbing" new claims procedures after Allwyn sends investigator to winner's home
That is comforting to hear. I am also a very random type of player, I don't pledge allegiance to one store. I buy my tickets in random places as I go about my errands. Sometimes I see this wine and spirits retailer and I walk in and buy a ticket. It maybe hard to remember all the places. Another example is when am on road trips, when I stop for gas I get a ticket or two. If I won and they asked me the name of the store, I would have a hard time lol

Florida LLC revealed to have claimed $1.6 billion Mega Millions lottery jackpot
As for me, I'm leaning towards the actual winner being the doctor in Jacksonville. How did his name appear on The Jackpot Winners and Retailer Information Report that the Florida Lottery puts out on their website? Because the Florida Lottery screwed up and accidentally put it on their report. Where did The Florida Lottery get the doctor's name and address? From the doctor himself because he claimed the ticket. And then the Jacksonville TV station reporters that saw the same report that I

Florida winner of $1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot steps forward to claim prize
I'm confused. The news article above says that the Florida Lottery did not reveal whether or not the winner chose the lump sum cash option or the annuity. Yet their website has a Jackpot Winners and Retailer Information Report on it showing the winner took the cash option. Here's a link to it. https://www.flalottery.com/exptkt/MegaMillions_Jackpot_Retailer_Info.pdf What's up with that? In addition to claiming anonymously I hope they hired a lawyer to claim it for them via a trust or

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
@Oldghost - To further clarify context for anyone who is reading/lurking...yes, good points for anyone considering playing either of those two games. By no means am I trying to assert that folks should senselessly/compulsively play these games. As you've pointed out, there are a ton of unknown variables here. I would personally rather take a shot at a $1 game or $2 game with $500k and $1M top prizes (pretaxes of course) over the typical $5k - $10k and $50k-$100k top prizes. Also, to expand o
