Puerto Rico runs away with the Powerball Jackpot
.. P.R. has been extremely fortunate O.B- considering that they have a population of under 4 Million. For all we know they could have no more than 100,000 persons playing the lottery. This simply goes to show that ANYONE holding a valid ticket has the same chances as the next person. This jackpot could have been Won in Mcminnville/ Oregon* ( Yeah Weshar) or Wyoming for all we know. Its picking the correct numbers people- nothing more, nothing less.

Could be, but Douglas WY. is over 6 hours from Salt Lake City, a long way to get lottery even for rural western travel. I could go from SLC to Vegas in less then that The ID border is a little over an hour.

Wyoming has its first lottery jackpot winner
Nice starting pot of $250K. Makes N.J.'s 75K beginning jackpot small potatoes. But hey, Wyoming is Big Sky Country!

How has the Wyoming Lottery impacted on Utah?
I always hate to hear a winning ticket is sold in Eastern Idaho because you just know it's a Utahn that won. It especially ticks me off when it's a big scratch off. I expect the Wyoming lottery is benefiting from the Utah locations which are closer to WY than to ID which are plenty of them. But I haven't heard anything on the subject.

How has the Wyoming Lottery impacted on Utah?
The Wyoming lottery was expected to draw Utahns to border towns to buy tickets. In the past, people along the Wasatch Front have rushed to Idaho to buy their tickets but has that changed?

Say goodbye to PB & MM soon!
lf you think you correct, why would the Powers that be allow so many States to join MM/PB if it translates into a financial disaster? You claiming that the reverse is true- really? Do you actually consider yourself smarter than the folks running the numbers on these games? BTW- if players from Minn, Puerto Rico, Wyoming won back to back on a regular basis, would you be campaigning for them to be dropped from the MUSL? **Like l said Neanderthal thinking.

Wyoming Lottery to start its first in-state game in March
This sound really good for the Wyoming players , saying it a national game , all proceeds are going to retained in Wyoming fine. Let's face reality. As soon as your Jackpot is high enough, expect people coming across your state line to buy some. People traveling through your state will buy them too.
