A woman faces a preliminary hearing on charges she stole $48,000 worth of instant-win Pennsylvania lottery tickets from the convenience store where she worked.
Online court records do not list an attorney for 39-year-old Diane Justi, of Freedom.
Police in Conway say Justi stole the tickets while working at the Conway Superette between April and September.

Iowa joins multi-state Mega Millions lottery
Iowa Lottery players will soon be able to make their first drawing for Mega Millions, a popular multistate game that paid a record $390 million jackpot two years ago.
The Iowa Lottery Board voted unanimously Monday to join Mega Millions, which will give lottery players another opportunity to buy chances for a Powerball-style game, said Iowa Lottery Chief Executive Officer Terry Rich. WBAL Radio has learned that Buddy Roogow is leaving the Maryland Lottery. He has accepted the post of Executive Director of the D.C. Lottery and Charitable Games.

Mega Millions sales in Texas for last Friday's $333 million advertised jackpot were $49.8 million for the prize's entire roll cycle, the highest sales recorded in Texas for any game.
