As Powerball has been grabbing headlines for its frequent big jackpots, the United States's other huge multi-state game, Mega Millions, has been quietly and steadily increasing its jackpot.

Tennessee to add Hot Lotto multi-state lottery game
Game will also see changes to number pool and prizes

Starting Sunday, Tennessee Lottery players will be able to purchase tickets for Hot Lotto, a multi-state game currently played in 14 states and Washington, D.C.
Hot Lotto is a multi-state drawing-style game similar to Powerball and Mega Millions. The all-cash jackpots begin at $1 million and average between $5 million and $6 million.

New Tri-State lottery game debuting Sunday

A new pick 5-style lottery game called Gimme 5 goes on sale Sunday in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont the states that collectively are known as 'Tri-State'.

Multi-state lottery jackpots top a combined $375 million
The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions rolled over to $154 million, while the top prize in tonight's Powerball multi-state lottery stands at $222 million.
The numbers drawn in Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery were 1, 6, 13, 20 and 51, and the Mega Ball was 31.

$1M NJ Powerball ticket to expire May 17
You may be a millionaire and not even know it.
Worse yet, you only have until May 17 to figure it out or lose the prize, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

Florida to join multi-state Mega Millions lottery
Florida will start selling tickets to the popular Mega Millions game later this year.
Florida Lottery officials told The Associated Press on Thursday that the state will join 42 other states in selling tickets. Tickets will go on sale on May 15.
The first Mega Millions drawing that Florida tickets will participate in is on Friday, May 17.

Final Wyoming Senate vote on lottery bill coming Friday
A bill that would allow a Wyoming lottery and multi-state games such as Powerball received preliminary approval in the state Senate on Wednesday.
The senate voted 17-to-12 to advance the bill. It already has passed the House and would need two more votes in the Senate. It's scheduled for its final vote Friday.
