Longtime Director of N.H. Lottery to retire
The state lotteries need more directors like Mr Wisler. People who are willing to make bold moves to shake things up when necessary. I like the acceptance of Video Lottery Terminals and the lottery slot machines. Those are the kind of things that would never even be considered in Tennessee in a million years. Why you ask? Because it's the work of the devil! That's why!

Lottery sales fell nearly 3 percent last fiscal year after peaking at almost $1 billion in 2008. Gov. Jay Nixon's administration has cited a continued decline in Lottery sales as a reason for cuts to Missouri's online school and some other educational programs that depend on its proceed ...

Powerball coming to Maryland, Massachusetts
OldSchoolPa wrote: Okay actually the first two are my main points...I would not in any way want to be involved with the lottery as that would mean I would not be able to play it and possibly win it! Why not with a yearly salary in the 7 digits and bonus's inside of ten years you would easily amass the amount of a beginning lottery payout. You wouldn't have to deal with the tremendous odds of winning because you'd already be a winner having secured the most lucrative job of mega- powerball dir ...

What Is Your Real Profession??
In the daytime I'm a brain surgeon, and at night I'm the senior program director of computer system design for the large Hadron collider. On the weekends, I get paid to design and build 30 million+ dollar telescopes for scientists in 17 different locations around the world. I'm in the process of finalizing the last touches to my fully operatable time machine, and a patent in about a week from now.

Arkansas Lottery scratch tickets, logo revealed
Lottery directors do tend to bring a lot of old habits with them when they swtich states. Just look at how Rebecca Paul, or Hargrove, or Throatwarbler-Mangrove, started up the TN Lottery, a ton of similarities to Georgia.
