michigan second chance drawings anyone ? or any other states ?
llinois has a 2nd chance drawing a couple of times a year, but it's nothing like the one you described. The prizes are all monetary and $30 in losers is needed for each entry.
The next time they have one I'll be playing $5 tickets (jackpot gsames, advanced play) instead of $1 ones, it's a pain either rntering them on the website or filling out the backs of them to smnail mail them.

Down to your last $10, would you buy a ticket for one of the biggest jackpots ever?
Down to your LAST $10, would you take a chance and buy a ticket(s) for one of the country's biggest jackpots ever offered?
You may still have a couple dollars left, after buying the ticket(s), but there is NO MORE money (that you know of) coming to you from any source.
If your spouse or significant other bought a ticket, knowing full well that $10 was ALL that was left in the bank, how would you react?

Would you be upset if you gave a lottery ticket as a gift and it was a million dollar winner?
I usually give out scratch-off tickets every year at the family Christmas party to everyone that attends. The Teens are usually the bnig winners. Of course, their parents' have to cash the tickets for them. I don't think anyone has ever expressed feeling upset over not having a winner.
They usually comment about it being fun.
I hope one day I can give them a big Jackpot winner.

After $10M lottery win, Mass. woman plans 'exceptional Christmas'
Smart lady. Wish IL would do a similar game. Sound like it a scratchoff version of pick 6 or jackpot games.

I wouldn't begrudge someone over winning some pocket money from a ticket I gave them as a gift but a million dollar or any significant jackpot would be a life changer for you and your family.
Isn't that like a player taboo kinda like copying somone else numbers?

Texas Lottery takes step toward selling Powerball
I'm already thinking ahead about playing PB. I usually play $2 on each jackpot game now, so another $2 isn't going to break me. Looking forward to it coming....no more trips to OK.
On a side note, I had to laugh at Dawn Nettles. Her whole thing is to complain about the Tx Lottery Comm. To her they never do anything right.

Texas Lottery takes step toward selling Powerball
The Texas Lottery Commission took a step Tuesday toward expanding state gambling options to include Powerball, with a chance for the first ticket to be sold here Jan. 31.
I think we would be remiss in at least not stepping out there and trying it. If we see it doesn't work, we can certainly pull back out, said Chairwoman Mary Ann Williamson before the commission unanimously voted to publish proposed game rules for public comment.
If the panel gives final approval to the rules early next y ...
