I always get at least one, usually more. Yeah, the odds suck but the fact of the matter is every time they do one of these there are multiple instant new millionaires. I'm close to the border so I can buy both anyway. I've cut back on them since they went to those rediculus odds... I like MM better, but wish that they would raise their minimum prize to $3 instead of $2...... Their cash amount is better IMO... MarkP

I'm with you, There's no way I would spend $20 on a California raffle ticket. I noticed how alot of the other states have the large tickets with cool jackpots like win for life and half a million dollars and such with pretty decent odds. California seems to find more ways to sell a prettier ticket that will generate more money for them but not the players with better odds. I have purchased the $5 raffle ticket in the past but never again.

yes indeedy and win win sweety! The only draw back is the fact its more about timing then it is about opportunity. I can be one of 500 opportunities but if I am not at the right store at the right time, it changes the odds immensely, since its a generated numbered ticket .

the michigan raffle games are good they only sell a set number of tickets. right now they got the million dollar raffle with 6 top prizes of a million plus a bunch of smaller prizes with only 600 thousand tickets being sold i like those odds.

pick 3 is my favorite. I only play PB when there's a pool going around at work. I just don't like playing games with lightning strike odds. LOL!! I gave up on it years back. When we were able to play online smoothly I was winning monthly on pick 3 anywhere from 225 to 900.

The number of possible combinations in a pool of 56 numbers are 3819816 but odds are based on possible combinations in the game and when you have 46 bonus numbers the possible combinations are 46 x 3819816 = 175711536. Since there are 46 5of5 combinations with a bonus numbers, when the one winning 5+1 combination is removed/subtracted there are (46-1) 45 5of5 combinations left with 175711536 possible combinations and the odds of having one of them are 175711536 45 = 3904700.8.
