I didn't know the state owned those terminals, I thought they belonged to the vendor. I don't know about other areas but in my area some of those terminals were due for a replacement. Several places were selling tickets that the terminals couldn't read because they weren't printing the bar codes clearly. The clerks would type in the tickets serial numbers that they could make out and hope it worked. I doubt if anyone will want those old terminals because they've seen their best days. ...

You should be more trusting to the point you at least say in which state you bought the ticket when you're asking a question about a game since you list your location as United States . Every state have a different system, Ohio recently install a new system by a different vendor and I've noticed some stores now have terminals with a screen that faces the customer and prints out if the ticket is a winner and its payout amount.

Weird, Retailer denied payment
Rather odd situation. Bought an instant ticket thru one of those Greene machines. Won a whoppin $2 according to the ticket game. Went to cash it in and the Validation machine spewed out: Card Reader cannot cash. The clerk was as mystified as I was since I hadnt claimed it before . THe Clerk calls the Vendor help line. Need Dream Help Please
Last night I had a vivid colorful dream of being on an airplane that continued to circle a stadium, not sure if it was a baseball or football statium. The plane eventually crashes, wings come off, but no one is hurt. Next episode is of being on a crowded city street with family members as we look at vendor tables. Any clues?? Thanks in advance!

Can you point me in the direction of the law for register sales receipts? Hot dog vendors- no receipts, Sidewalk vendors, no receipts, Lottery terminals- no receipts. Computer/TEchnology events, no receipts. Asked even and received a nice smile of You are joking lady! No but because you mentioned his name and lottery, many LP members and guests will google that name with lottery and go to website that's selling this system along with 10 others system. Sometimes when a question like that is asked, I think it's actually the guy or a vendor selling that stuff that is really asking the question. It's one way of getting some free advertisement on one the nation most popular lottery website.

Oh yeah, I am waiting for the big pick four to get going. So that I can get my hands on some $$$$. Not necessarily. It is ultimately up to the Lottery itself not the vendor. The way the tickets are printed and from what machine could and probably would change. But the vendor doesn't necessarily make those kinds of decisions, the lottery does.
