How Do You Handle Midday And Evening Drawings ?
I don't think that the balls from the evening drawing remember what they did for the next midday drawing. They could even be a different ballset so they don't know what the other ballset is doing, unless they watch the broadcast; but I don't think they have eyes like the Geico money does. Pick3 4 have different tumblers for different positions so one set of balls in one tumbler may not even know what the other set in the other tumbler does; unless they text each other or watch ...

More shenannigans from the Illinois Lottery
Hey Coin Toss, Did they show it live or taped later in the broadcast? I'm not saying it's fixed either but opportunities can arrise if you know what I mean. Stranger things have happened with a wink and a nod (I grew up in Chicago).

Technical problem delays MM drawing
Its happened more than once with Powerball as I've been watching their drawings every time for the last 5 years. They always announce there is a problem during the live broadcast. Did anyone here see the live broadcast tonight for Megamillions?

NY Lottery and Anonymity
If I won I would not want to broadcast it to anyone, I usually buy tickets that don't offer big jackpots for this reason. to get a lawyer and do an LLC or trust is first you have to find a trustworthy lawyer and thats a tough search. other problems are your job and relatives. I could never do a press conference.

Numbers That Made The World
BBC World Service is broadcasting a series of programs on numbers, starting this week. It explores where they came from and their sacred and superstitious power in various religions. It should be interesting. BBC World Service is broadcast on many local FM stations, or check it's site.

NYS Lottery Drawing now live online @ 11:21 PM
Thanks for the heads-up, that's awesome. Here a direct link to the live programming page on that site: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/livenow?id=6887790 This is exactly what the state lotteries should all be doing: streaming of the live drawings to the Web. Wouldn't that free up all those expensive broadcast costs they always complain about?

Hep me!...Hep me pleez!
In order for that to be available, the MUSL people would have to stream the video to the Web an idea I have been writing about for a couple of years now but streaming is a lot different and more complex than just posting the drawing video after the fact. I'm not aware of any government lottery the streams to the Web currently. I really hope one of them tries it, and shows how it can significantly cut down on TV broadcast costs and take away one of the oft-used excuses for moving to computeri ...

Does anybody know of a POWERBALL jurisdiction that provides LIVE (not archived) WEBCASTS (not TV broadcasts) of Powerball Drawings ? I have checked every state's website and don't find anything. Did I miss something ?
