Lottery ticket purchased in Fort Lauderdale wins $279,490 top prize
One winner of the Florida Lottery's Fantasy 5'' game will collect $279,490.42, lottery officials said Sunday.
The winning ticket was bought in Fort Lauderdale, lottery officials reported.
The 382 tickets matching four numbers won $118 each. Another 12,134 tickets matching three numbers won $10 each, and 120,796 tickets won a Quick Pick ticket for picking two numbers.
The numbers drawn Saturday night were 6-21-23-25-28.

According to the North American Assoc. of State and Provincial Lotteries, 42 states and the District of Columbia run lotteries, and more than half claim the games boost funding for education. Selling the state's lottery and some of its highways, such as Alligator Alley, to private companies may help solve Florida's financial dilemma, Gov. Charlie Crist said Tuesday.
