Man claims he's owed Mega Millions in suit against Illinois Lottery
An East St. Louis man says the Illinois Lottery Control Board refused to pay him for a winning lottery ticket. Johnnie Cooper filed suit April 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Illinois Lottery Control Board. Cooper says he purchased a lottery ticket on Aug. 28, 2007. N.Y. looks to join Powerball lottery
The New York Lottery is seeking to enter the 32 jurisdictions currently selling the Powerball lottery as a way to increase state revenue and stop jackpot seekers from heading to other states to play. Colorado Lottery reviewing partnership with Mega Millions
The Colorado Lottery, along with other members of the Multi State Lottery Association (MUSL), is reviewing the option of selling tickets for the multi-state Mega Millions lottery game. Washington Senate passes Powerball bill
The Washington state Senate has passed a bill that would let the state join the multi-state Powerball lottery game. The bill passed on a 35-12 vote Tuesday and now goes to the House for consideration. Washington state already participates in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game.
