Ireland TV network red-faced after huge lottery numbers blunder
Ireland's national television broadcaster is hoping the country's newest Lotto millionaire hasn't thrown away their winning ticket after watching the live drawing broadcast on Saturday night.
RTE was forced to rectify a huge mistake on air, after broadcasting the wrong numbers for two draws, including the main Lotto results.
Many people from Northern Ireland also play the Republic's lottery, as well as the British National Lottery, to increase their chances of instant riches.

Virginia Lottery drawings now streamed live on Facebook

The Virginia Lottery now is streaming its drawings live on its Facebook page, in addition to its Web site.
In order to view the live video stream on the Virginia Lottery Facebook page, visitors must first click the Like option on the page, according to a lottery news release.
The live streams began on Sept. 14, and can be viewed daily at 1:59 and 11:00 p.m.

NJ Lottery drawings to return to broadcast TV
Public Media, the New Jersey parent company of NJTV, announced today that New Jersey state lottery numbers will once again be carried on New Jersey public television.
Beginning September 6, the Lottery's daily winning numbers results will be aired at 1:58 p.m. and 8:58 p.m. seven days a week.

Massachusetts Lottery to end TV broadcasts
Starting Aug. 15 the Massachusetts Lottery will only show video replays of its in-state lottery drawings on its Web site, shifting away from the television format that players in Massachusetts have grown accustomed to since the 1970s.

Assemblywoman wants N.J. lottery drawings back on TV
New Jersey Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Mercer) announced today she will introduce a bill requiring NJTV to broadcast the New Jersey lottery drawings.
Since July 1, the New Jersey Lottery has been streaming its daily lottery drawings only on its Web site and on its Facebook page.

The New Jersey Lottery will be the first state lottery to stream its lottery drawings live over the Internet on Facebook.
The first live streamed drawing will be on July 1, 2011.
