Winning $217M Powerball ticket sold in Virginia

Someone who bought a Powerball ticket in the Richmond, Va. airport for Wednesday night's drawing will wake up a multimillionaire.
The Virginia Lottery said the ticket sold for Wednesday's $217 million drawing matched all five numbers plus the Powerball.
The winning numbers were 5, 27, 36, 38, and 41, with Powerball number 12.

There was no jackpot winner in the Saturday night drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery game, causing the grand prize to increase to an estimated $208 million for Wednesday's drawing.

Iowa investigators are trying to track down the winner of a $14.3 million Hot Lotto jackpot ticket after the person refused to be identified and was disqualified as a result.

A couple in their 40s from Kansas City, Kansas, say they both like their jobs and will continue to work, even though they are the winners of a $9.43 million Hot Lotto jackpot.

Christopher McGurran overnight went from living a modest life to living large.
