Multi-state lottery jackpots top a combined $375 million
The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions rolled over to $154 million, while the top prize in tonight's Powerball multi-state lottery stands at $222 million.
The numbers drawn in Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery were 1, 6, 13, 20 and 51, and the Mega Ball was 31.

Woman digs $10,000 Powerball lottery ticket out of trash
A 41-year-old woman from Greensburg, Louisiana, says she initially threw away a Powerball ticket for the March 23 drawing, but dug it out of the trash when she realized she hadn't checked the numbers.
It's a good thing she did. The ticket was worth $10,000.

You may be a millionaire and not even know it.
Worse yet, you only have until May 17 to figure it out or lose the prize, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

$338M NJ Powerball winner pays child support owed
The New Jersey deli owner who won the $338 million Powerball jackpot last week sliced off a piece of his prize to pay nearly $30,000 in back child support yesterday.
Pedro Quezada, 44, appeared in Passaic County Family Court in Paterson, NJ, and cut a certified check for the payments, rounding the total up from the $29,490 he owed dating to 2009.

$338M NJ Powerball winner pledges to pay rent for his entire block
Powerball winner Pedro Quezada is hosting a rent party for his entire block.
A close friend of the newly minted megamillionaire said Quezada promised to temporarily cover the housing costs for residents in the Passaic, N.J., neighborhood that housed his bodega.
