Oklahoma Lottery to add Hot Lotto, TV show
The Oklahoma Lottery plans to start a television game show and offer an additional multi-state game in hopes of improving lower-than-expected revenues.
The new television game show would be filmed in Oklahoma City and begin airing in October. Next year, Oklahoma would join ten other states in offering the Hot Lotto game, which features a minimum jackpot of $1 million.

The Oklahoma Lottery Saturday held the drawing for its new raffle-style game, which, judging by the title, will happen once a year.

An Oklahoma state senator from Edmond plans to introduce legislation to prohibit people from forming anonymous trusts after learning they have won a lottery prize.

Starting today, stores that participate in Oklahoma's lottery games will be selling tickets for a new Pick 5 game.
Lottery commission officials said Oklahoma's Cash 5 tickets go on sale today, September 1, with the first drawing to be held on Tuesday, September 5.

The Oklahoma Lottery Commission may not be doing anything different than lotteries in other states in allowing trusts to claim prizes, but we don't want to be like other states.
We want winners identified just as the commission said they would be identified with the minimum name and hometown.

Oklahoma Lottery sales have been lower than expected this summer, but Powerball play remained strong, the executive director of the Oklahoma Lottery Commission said Tuesday.
