For 21 years an Atlanta foster mother has cared for children she's considered her own. On the eve of her 72nd birthday, the Georgia Lottery will be taking care of her.
Bonnie Gunter, who celebrates her birthday June 25, has won a $300,000 top prize playing the instant game Lotta Bucks.
Gunter's husband, Rene Jimenez, purchased the ticket and gave it to her.

A Rock Hill, South Carolina, man was about to throw away a lottery ticket when he noticed he missed a spot. When he scratched off the spot he uncovered a 7 to win $200,000.

An Ohio man won $5 million in the Ohio Lottery Tuesday, but even though he's dependent on kidney dialysis, he says he plans on helping friends and charities with financial gifts.
Phillip Withem, of Logan, won the second chance drawing called the Top Prized Drawing.

Lottery commission celebrates with Tax Repeal Tea Party
Starting Monday, New Hampshire residents no longer have to pay taxes on their lottery winnings.
The state imposed a 10 percent tax on gambling winnings over $600 in 2009, but the tax was repealed by the current Legislature under a bill going effect Monday.

After a false start, Decades of Dollars finally lands in fourth state

Eula Webb, 75, wanted to get some milk from the store, so she asked her friend Sam Cricci, 80, if he wanted to come along and buy some milk, too.

Arkansas Lottery partners with grocery chain on vending machines
An Ohio-based grocery store chain has signed a contract with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to sell lottery tickets through vending machines.
