At least two B.C. retailers who won the lottery multiple times were so badly in debt around the time of their winnings they filed for bankruptcy.

The B.C. Lottery Corporation has gone public with the names of its lottery retailers who have won major prizes, following this week's scathing report by the B.C. ombudsman into lottery irregularities.

Like chips and soda, now you can buy North Carolina scratch-off lottery tickets from vending machines.
The lottery began installing 500 machines statewide last week. The vending machines sell 24 games costing $1 to $10 each.
