maryland - thta only goes to show doubters who think the lottery is not fixed - IT's FIXED. It's not way shape or form that numbers would appear in that sequence order. People are so nieve
Yes, people are very naive. The odds in a 5/39 game, excluding the bonus ball, are 1:575,757. Now you pointed out the 33-34-35-36-37 drawing (bonus ball irrelevant). A fully sequential drawing of 1-2-3-4-5, 2-3-4-5-6......35-36-37-38-39, would also have drawn suspicion. So, we've got 35 different fully sequential combinations, that you would have noticed. We are excluding the five wraparound possibilities 36-37-38-39-1, 37-38-39-1-2...39-1-2-3-4. Alright, so 575,757 divided by 35 = 1:16,450. There is a 1 in 16,450 chance that the numbers will be fully sequential.
Pick 5 games are daily...365.26 draws a year. 16,450/365.26 = 45.036
There is a 1 in 45 chance that a single lottery will draw sequential numbers in any given year! How many Pick 5 lotteries are there in the US? I'll get the exact stat later on tonight once I'm done with work, but maybe 20? Fully sequential draws should happen somewhere in the United States once every two years at the minimum!! It's not fixed, it's the odds...it just happened to show in Maryland.
